Cuts to the UK aid budget will have devastating consequences
As a humanitarian organisation, Concern believes the UK government has a role to play and must act to protect those experiencing extreme hunger, poverty, and displacement.
Stand with those facing extreme poverty as the UK cuts aid
Aid is under attack, the UK Government recently made the shocking announcement that aid will be cut to just 0.3% of Gross National Income (GNI).
We know aid works. Over the past 30 years, more than one billion people have been lifted out of extreme poverty. This extraordinary achievement serves as a reminder that it is possible to fight extreme poverty. It is essential that we have funding to continue this work.
