Do something amazing! Experience the thrill of jumping out of an aeroplane at 10,000 feet and the feeling of ‘flying’ as you descend.
This is a truly unique and special experience. A skydive might be something you’ve had on your bucket list for a while. By jumping for Concern, you get to experience the thrill whilst also making a difference to the lives of the people living in the world’s most vulnerable places.
Our charity skydive partners, Skyline, have 20 skydive centres across the UK to choose from. By jumping for Concern your jump costs are covered. All you need to do is pay the online registration fee and then set up your fundraising page and raise the minimum fundraising target.
To help you do this, you will receive a:
-
Fundraising pack and support from a dedicated fundraiser to help you smash your target
-
A branded Concern t-shirt to wear over your jumpsuit on the day
-
Regular emails with more information on our work to inspire you and your funders
General FAQs
How does a tandem skydive work?
A tandem skydive lets you experience free fall without the need for lots of training. You will free fall normally from at least 10,000 feet with the parachute being opened at 5,000 feet. You then get to float down the last mile with your instructor to a soft landing. This is the perfect experience for a first-time jump as you are attached to an instructor who does all of the work for you. This way you can enjoy the view!
