Evaluation of the Concern Nepal earthquake emergency response programme
The earthquake that hit Nepal on 25th April 2015, and its multiple subsequent aftershocks, caused significant damage. Against a politically and geographically challenging operating environment, Concern Worldwide mounted a response operation.
The reponse was evaluated in February 2017 to examine the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and impact of the initial response activities. Overall, the findings of the evaluation were largely consistent, giving a high level of confidence in the conclusions that have been drawn.
