This briefing paper describes the Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) ‘surge model’ and its application in Marsabit County by Concern and the Government of Kenya.
The model builds upon Concern’s experience implementing CMAM in emergency and development contexts more broadly and is informed by the organisation’s experience in health system strengthening through its child survival interventions.
